Anybody who has ever worked for a living knows the number one rule in politics is, "It isn't what you know, it's who you know."This is one of the unwritten laws of life.
I tell you now: this is good but not good enough. How many of us know the Pope or David Beckham, or Taylor Swift? Does any of them know us? Will they be readily available to do us a favour when we call on them? The truth is: it's not really who you know that counts, it's who knows you.
